“Hello, I am Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. First I must apologize for the spelling of my name. It is rather long, but it does not matter to me, as I cannot spell. |

I feel I must explain the things that I do in Iraq. Even though this is not my home country, I refuse to allow people to vote. If they vote, I cannot run the country how I feel it needs to be run. I admire Saddam. He and I were lovers.”
Am I responsible for suicide car-bombings, kidnappings and beheadings of foreigners? Yes. Those men with guns frighten me. I only wish to hurt those who cannot fight in defense. This will make a good enough point to those powerful infadels.
Is terrorism for the weak? Yes, of course. That’s why I joined al-Qaida. That’s why I threaten dolls and use handicapped children as my suicide bombers.”
There you heard it folks… He’s a coward…
Well, we have yet another addition to our family on the way (no – no more kids!). This one is the runt of the litter, a boxer pup. We will be bringing it home in a couple of weeks to meet the kids and our two other dogs – one basset and one wolf/hybrid. This should be quite interesting.
Some people might question: “A wolf, a bassett and a boxer puppy?! What are you thinking?!” Well, in all honesty, the pups far more likely to be terrorized by the basset, who is quite wired. The wolf, on the other hand, plays well with all animals – even cats! ![]()
I’ve gone through and redesigned my site, and now I’m in the process of setting up some new scripts. The scripts include a new links directory and downloads sections, so if something is missing that was here before, be patient. It will be back!
This is my personal web site, where I rant and rave, and display things that interest me, or influence my life.
I grew up in Lafayette, Indiana and graduated from Lafayette Jeff High School in 1991. For about the following year I lived a little before life’s responsibilities caught up with me and I had a child on the way.
In late 1992 I moved with my wife to Michigan and started attending a local vocational school, specializing in electronics and computer technology – whodda thought that, eh? Well, I did – and graduated from there in 1994 with honors (I actually pulled off some decent grades).
After graduation there I decided it would be best to remain in the area in order to get a career established. I started working at BF Goodrich Aerospace, soldering boards for airplanes and such. It was a fun job while it lasted, but it was only temporary. From there I got into computers and networking.
Currently I reside in a small town in Northwestern Indiana with my wife, three kids and a few pets. I run a few websites on the side, such as this one and NeoDawgs. I also play paintball with the NeoDawgs group.
And that is my life…
I, Robot: There have always been ghosts in the machine. Random segments of code, that have grouped together to form unexpected protocols. Unanticipated, these free radicals engender questions of free will, creativity, and even the nature of what we might call the soul. Why is it that when some robots are left in darkness, they will seek out the light? Why is it that when robots are stored in an empty space, they will group together, rather than stand alone? How do we explain this behavior? Random segments of code? Or is it something more? When does a perceptual schematic become consciousness? When does a difference engine become the search for truth? When does a personality simulation become the bitter mote… of a soul?
Lord of War: “We’re with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.” “Let me guess… this isn’t about the alcohol or tobacco.”
