I've never been able to stand this guy anyway. He has always seemed very detached from the general public.

He is right in the aspect of the U.S. having some of the best in medical technology. On the other hand I would be willing to bet that he has no problem affording it. I guess he makes sure his glass is half-full before swallowing the pills.

I have to admit, Sophos is really hard on Apple for not releasing regular security updates, and not allowing anti-malware programs to run on their devices, even though it seems to be pretty easy to jailbreak them (getting around security is fairly easy with Google at your fingers tips – even a caveman could do it).

But the same thing happened to another company back in the late 90s. Something about the need to fix flaws faster in some program… was it maybe Windows? Yes, Microsoft was a little late to the game, too, and now we see updates just about every week – since Windows XP.

I guess Larry the Cable Guy said it best: 'It's like checking on your burgers after they're burnt!'

If the country weren't stuck in a financial mess I would still be opposed to the health care plan. It does nothing to resolve the constant increase of premiums. I currently pay out FAR more than I use. This will now be placed on the tax payers as well, since they will have to cover those that are added to Medicaide.

Maybe they should start with affordable health care. With the cost I'm paying now I could buy another house, or have mine completely remodeled and have a new car – after I pay the bill for my doctor visits. I could have paid, out of pocket, for my son's stay in the hospital for what family insurance costs.
