What the hell? They were awarded because Apple patented what? Rounded corners and 'pinch and zoom'? The patent office needs an overhaul if they are going to allow such wide ranging patents.

I don't disagree that Samsung phones look very similar to iPhones, but please give me better reasons for hurting consumers than some vague and wide-ranging blanket patents.

Political evils – Mitt Romney's tax plan – I saw an ad for Obama, regarding Mitt's tax 'reduction'. I also saw Clint Eastwood's statement that the tax rate is fair, but from what can bee seen of it the tax plan leads to less taxes for the rich and more for the poor.

It's bad enough that politicians continue to put the 'fiscal cliff' (a real bi-partisan budget) on the back burner, but taking roughly $2,000 out of the pockets of the low and middle class right now is insane.

NASA's Curiosity landed on Mars this morning, and it had to have been one of the coolest landings they ever pulled off! Now they have a car-sized rover on the planet, dropped by a sky crane!
