  facepalm

  At least they started using timing chains… in 2007, or around there, not that it helps me. Actually the Hyundai will likely need the timing belt replaced while getting to the bad seal. None-the-less, they can keep their Korean cars.

  The Cruiser is what has the water pump buried in with the timing belt.

  2x timing belts…. and then some. FML

  So, anyone know a mechanic?

  Na, I'm on hold with it all for now. Gonna try to get estimates. The front end work… I can do. The timing belts are another story, and it's on both cars. Until I get some money I can't do much either way.

  Well, in the meantime my cat – for whatever reason – has turned my new CV axle box into her favorite place to sleep! At least someone is happy.
